Ambassador of Uzbekistan Alisher Tukhtaev held an online meeting with Khurram Mukhtar, Director of “Sadaqat Limited”, one of Pakistan's largest textile companies.
During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of further expanding cooperation between the two countries in the textile industry, attracting Pakistani investments into the economy of Uzbekistan, implementing joint production projects and increasing export potential.

“Until now, our company has been purchasing yarn and certain types of fabrics produced in Uzbekistan through intermediaries, - head of the company, Khurram Mukhtar, noted. - In the future, we are ready to establish direct cooperation with major manufacturers in Uzbekistan, procure high-quality yarn and fabric products based on long-term contracts and form a sustainable supply mechanism taking into account our requirements for a six-month period”.
Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to organize online negotiations with the participation of relevant organizations of Uzbekistan and “Sadaqat Limited” to establish direct business ties between the Pakistani company and major textile enterprises of the country.
