During the negotiations, current regional security issues, particularly the situation on the Afghan-Pakistani border, as well as prospects for deepening cooperation between Uzbekistan and the EU, were discussed.
The parties confirmed their mutual interest in continuing a systematic and constructive dialogue on regional security and cooperation issues and agreed to maintain regular consultations.
