The seventh Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia will be held in Tashkent
On November 15-16 in Tashkent, under the chairmanship of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the seventh Consultative meeting of the heads of state of Central Asia will be held Asia.
The summit will be attended by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, as well as the head of the UN Regional Center for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia Kakha Imnadze.
The agenda of the event includes issues of further strengthening regional cooperation in Central Asia, as well as the implementation of joint projects and initiatives in priority areas. There will be an exchange of views on current issues of regional and international politics.
Following the results of the Consultative Meeting, it is planned to adopt a solid package of multilateral documents.
The initiative to hold regular consultative meetings of the heads of state of the region was put forward by the leader of Uzbekistan at the 72nd session of the UN General Assembly in September 2017 year.
During the current chairmanship of Uzbekistan, over 20 major events were held in this format, covering various areas of interaction.
