New buses arrived in Gulistan
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev inspected the modern buses delivered to Gulistan to update the public transport fleet.
For the purpose of organizing 52 buses were delivered for intracity bus service in Gulistan. They fully comply with the requirements of the Euro-5 environmental standard and operate on compressed natural gas.
These vehicles are designed to carry 65 passengers, providing comfortable conditions for everyone - the buses are low-floor and equipped with special ramps and separate seats for transporting people with disabilities. To pay for travel, it is possible to use the ATTO electronic system.
Based on the needs of the population for urban transportation on public transport, on the basis of a gross contract, bus traffic is organized along 7 intra-city routes, fully covering 23 mahallas of Gulistan.
This will halve the bus interval, ensuring the provision of comfortable, safe and affordable transport services 29 thousand residents.
Another important result will be that within a year, as part of the updated service, transport services worth 38 billion soums will be provided, and 120 jobs will be created.
The head of state instructed to consistently continue work to replenish the public transport fleets of the country's cities with modern buses and provide quality services to the population.
Information was also presented here about plans to purchase another 30 eleven-meter long-distance buses in the future. The implementation of this project will create more than 150 additional jobs.
