Uzbekistan became a member of the International Tungsten Industry Association
The Uzbek Technological Metals Plant (UzTMK) has received recognition at the global level, becoming a full member of the most prestigious organization in tungsten industry - the International Tungsten Industry Association (ITIA).
Thus, Uzbekistan went down in history as the first country in Central Asia to become a member of this organization.
The acceptance of UzTMK into the ITIA indicates international recognition of the potential of our country in the field of the tungsten industry. By joining the association, UzTMK strengthened its position and became a stable participant in the global tungsten industry. Membership in ITIA provides the mill with access to market data and analytics, as well as the opportunity to participate in major international events and receive up-to-date statistical information.
ITIA's main goal is to analyze global tungsten production, processing and consumer markets, provide digital and analytical support to the industry, promote scientific approaches and sustainable solutions. Currently, the association unites leading companies and research centers from such technologically developed countries as Japan, Germany and Austria.
