The day before, a joint business forum was successfully held with the wide participation of business circles and industry departments of the two countries, a trading house with a showroom of Uzbek products was opened in the city of Ulaanbaatar.
During During the negotiations, special attention was paid to deepening economic cooperation.
There was significant potential for a multiple increase in mutual trade in the coming years, primarily due to the expansion of the range and volumes of supplies of in-demand products.
For these purposes, the importance of accelerating the adoption of agreements on preferential trade and investment protection was emphasized.
The head of our state advocated deepening industrial cooperation in specific sectors of the economy. A number of promising areas of interaction have been identified as priorities.
First of all, this is partnership in the extractive sector, including the development of a geological exploration program, development of deposits of raw materials, technology transfer, exchange of experience and personnel training.
In this context, the opening of a representative office of the Ministry of Geology of Uzbekistan in the city of Ulaanbaatar was noted with satisfaction in order to promote projects in this industry.
Interest was expressed in deepening comprehensive cooperation in agriculture through the creation of joint clusters and promotion of cooperation projects in the processing and production of meat, dairy, wool and leather goods products.
Special attention is paid to strengthening transport connectivity and developing new logistics routes. Plans are outlined to launch direct flights between the capitals by the end of the year.
It is proposed to conduct applied research to determine the shortest and most efficient transport corridors together with the International Analytical Institute for Landlocked Countries.
The importance of continuing active cultural and humanitarian exchanges is emphasized. It was noted with satisfaction that these days the city of Ulaanbaatar is hosting the Days of Uzbek Culture, events in the field of art and tourism.
An agreement was reached on the active development of cooperation between higher educational institutions, the resumption of education in universities of Uzbekistan for Mongolian youth within the framework of allocated quotas.
Acceptance was agreed upon "road map" for the timely and high-quality implementation of the agreements reached.

- Cooperation plan between the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry of Mongolia for expansion of cooperation in the field of agriculture;

The parties agreed to hold mutual concerts, exhibitions, film screenings, and participate in festivals on a regular basis.
The head of our state also expressed readiness to resume the education of Mongolian youth in leading universities of Uzbekistan within the framework of allocated quotas.
