To implement the objectives set out in the Uzbekistan–2030 Strategy approved by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has launched the “Visa Focus Month” initiative.
To implement the objectives set out in the Uzbekistan–2030 Strategy approved by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has launched the “Visa Focus Month” initiative.
As part of the initiative, Uzbekistan’s diplomatic missions and consular offices abroad will intensify negotiations with foreign partners to expand visa-free travel opportunities for Uzbek citizens, simplify visa procedures, and introduce more modern and user-friendly visa facilitation mechanisms.
Particular emphasis will be placed on establishing visa-free regimes for citizens of Uzbekistan, expanding the use of electronic visas, simplifying visa procedures, and promoting other facilitation measures aimed at making international travel more accessible.
The initiative is intended to broaden international travel opportunities for Uzbek citizens, create more favourable conditions for travelling abroad, and contribute to the consistent implementation of Uzbekistan’s open and proactive foreign policy.
