Diplomats from the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Islamabad held a meeting with the Chairman of the organization «Africa House Pakistan» Rehan Younas.
During the meeting, the parties discussed in detail issues related to the further development of mutually beneficial cooperation between companies of Uzbekistan, Pakistan, and African countries, the expansion of direct business ties, and the implementation of new joint investment projects.
During the negotiations, the head of the organization gave a presentation on its activities. According to him, «Africa House Pakistan» serves as an important platform for strengthening trade and economic relations, facilitating entry into African markets, and promoting export-oriented projects by organizing B2B meetings with representatives of African businesses.
«We are interested in establishing practical cooperation with Uzbekistan, – noted Rehan Younas. – In particular, we have plans for the packaging and processing of nutraceutical products, pharmaceuticals, biologically active supplements, healthcare goods, as well as cosmetics and skincare products, with the prospect of organizing their production in Uzbekistan. In addition, we propose to establish a Pakistan Trade House in Uzbekistan, which will help promote Pakistani products, including textiles, sports goods, leather products, and other export-oriented items».
Special attention was also given to the prospects of effectively utilizing the capabilities of «Africa House Pakistan» for exporting products manufactured in Uzbekistan to third countries, particularly to African markets, as well as establishing direct dialogue and cooperation between business communities.
In addition, issues of cooperation in the field of sports were discussed. In particular, the leadership of «Africa House Pakistan» expressed its readiness to establish technical cooperation with the Football Association of Uzbekistan, as well as to supply professional sports equipment manufactured in Pakistan.
Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to hold an online meeting between «Africa House Pakistan» and relevant organizations of Uzbekistan in order to further develop cooperation in trade, economic, investment, and sports sectors.
