An acquaintance with the progress of construction of a modern residential complex took place
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the construction site of the “Sharq bahori” residential complex in New Tashkent.
As noted by the head of our state in its Message to the Oliy Majlis and the people, this year 8 million 100 thousand square meters of multi-apartment housing have been built and put into operation. In total, over the past nine years, 210 million square meters of residential and non-residential facilities have been commissioned.
Large-scale housing construction is also in full swing in New Tashkent. At the first stage, it is planned to build modern infrastructure for 600 thousand residents. And by the final completion of the project, New Tashkent will turn into a huge metropolis designed for 2 million people.
The first step in meeting housing needs will be the “Sharq bahori” complex. This is one of the largest housing construction projects in our region - multi-storey buildings with almost 15 thousand apartments will be built on an area of 95 hectares.
To date, more than 18 million square meters of construction work have been completed here. Modern materials of energy efficiency class “A+” are used.
It is also planned to create a green zone on the territory of the complex, which will include the planting of more than 15 thousand trees and shrubs. Autonomous heating and cooling systems will be installed, and the roofs will be completely covered with solar panels.
Underground parking lots will be organized under the houses to park residents' personal cars. A park, a metro station, administrative buildings and public institutions will appear within a 5-10 minute distance from the complex.
Having visited one of the finished apartments and familiarized himself with the conditions, the President emphasized that New Tashkent should become a standard and experimental workshop for the entire country in the construction of comprehensively comfortable housing for the population.
