On 24 April 2026, regular consultations on issues related to the international activities of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and regional security were held in Moscow at the level of Deputy Heads of Foreign Ministries of SCO member states.
During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on pressing issues on the international and regional agenda, including security challenges and threats, as well as matters related to deepening foreign policy coordination within the Organization.
Particular attention was paid to strengthening the SCO’s role on the international stage, ensuring regional stability, and improving cooperation mechanisms, including the development of the Organization’s treaty and legal framework.
