«Rwanda has become the 167th country with which Uzbekistan has established diplomatic relations, – the Uzbek foreign minister wrote on his telegram channel. – Together with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Rwanda H.E. Olivier Nduhungirehe, we signed a Joint Communiqué on the establishment of diplomatic relations.
Also signed a MOU between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the two countries on establishing a mechanism for political consultations.
The signing of these documents undoubtedly represents an important step toward expanding Uzbekistan’s engagement with countries across the African continent».
