Proposal to organize the Uzbekistan-Pakistan Women Entrepreneurs Forum is being discussed

The visit was organized to establish cooperation between businesswomen in Uzbekistan and Pakistan, as well as to expand the exchange of business experience and knowledge.
Ambassador Alisher Tukhtaev briefed the delegation members on the current state and prospects of Uzbek-Pakistani relations. In particular, he highlighted the intensification of political dialogue between the two countries, ongoing efforts to expand trade, economic and investment cooperation, the development of transport and logistics routes, and the strengthening of direct contacts between business entities.
As emphasized during the meeting, cooperation between Uzbekistan and Pakistan is gaining new momentum not only through interstate relations but also through the development of collaboration between the private sectors and business communities of the two countries.
In this regard, enhancing women’s economic participation and unlocking their entrepreneurial potential were identified as promising areas for mutually beneficial partnership.
Particular attention during the meeting was paid to establishing sustainable mechanisms for cooperation between businesswomen from Uzbekistan and Pakistan. Specifically, the parties exchanged views on building business ties between women entrepreneurs in the two countries, promoting their products and services in each other’s markets, implementing joint projects, and exploring new investment opportunities.
An initiative was put forward to organize a Forum of Women Entrepreneurs of Uzbekistan and Pakistan. The importance of turning the forum into an effective platform bringing together businesswomen from both countries was emphasized, with the aim of fostering new business partnerships, presenting investment projects, and facilitating the exchange of experience.
Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to support initiatives aimed at expanding practical cooperation between Uzbekistan and Pakistan in the field of women’s entrepreneurship.
