The Presidents of Uzbekistan and Russia had a telephone conversation
On November 11, a telephone conversation took place between the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.
Topical issues of further development and strengthening were discussed Uzbek-Russian relations of comprehensive strategic partnership and alliance in the context of the practical implementation of agreements at the highest level.
Particular attention was paid to maintaining the dynamics of trade growth, promoting cooperation in priority sectors of the economy, including joint projects in the energy sector, expanding business cooperation between regions and cultural and humanitarian exchange.
The fruitful results of the event held on October 22 this year in Moscow were noted with satisfaction area of the second meeting of the Council of Regions of Uzbekistan and Russia.
The importance of the effective holding of the upcoming regular meeting of the Uzbek-Russian Intergovernmental Commission and a joint business forum on December 3 was noted.
The parties also exchanged views on current issues of the international and regional agenda, discussed the schedule of upcoming events.
