The President of Uzbekistan spoke in favor of strengthening ties with the American state of Utah
President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received a business delegation from the American state of Utah consisting of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints elder David Bednar and chairman of the international Stirling Charitable Foundation by Miles Hansen. The meeting was also attended by US Ambassador to Uzbekistan Jonathan Henick.
Prospects for the development of trade, economic and investment cooperation with the state of Utah in the context of the growing dynamics of Uzbek-American strategic partnership relations.
Active contacts and exchanges between Uzbekistan and the state of Utah were noted with satisfaction. Joint projects in the field of digitalization, education and social protection have been launched.
The great potential for implementing projects in the field of innovation, mining, women's entrepreneurship, inclusive education, healthcare, water supply and sanitation was emphasized.
As a result, an agreement was reached to organize a visit of a delegation led by the Governor of Utah to Uzbekistan for development interregional connections.
