The President of Uzbekistan received the Japanese delegation
As part of the program of the Tashkent Investment Forum and the Council of Foreign Investors, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received a delegation led by the Governor of the Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) Nobumitsu Hayashi.
The issues of expanding practical cooperation and promoting joint ones with the participation of this leading Japanese financial institution were considered.
JBIC's contribution to the development and modernization of key sectors of the economy of our country was noted with satisfaction.
Currently, the portfolio of joint projects has reached almost 4 billion dollars, including in such areas as the petrochemical, textile industry, energy, information technology, infrastructure and other areas.
The importance of the speedy preparation and promotion of cooperation projects with the participation of Japanese companies in the field of green energy, IT, transport and healthcare was emphasized within the framework of a new three-year cooperation program.

As a result of negotiations, an agreement was reached on the adoption of a comprehensive “road map”.
