The President of Uzbekistan arrived in the Russian Federation
The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived on a working visit to St. Petersburg.
At Pulkovo International Airport, the distinguished guest was met by the city governor Alexander Beglov and other officials.
As part of the stay program on December 21-22, the leader of Uzbekistan will take part in the next meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council in observer status and an informal meeting of the heads of state of the CIS.
The agenda of the summits includes current issues of further expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation within the framework of these multilateral associations.
Traditionally, the main results of joint work will be summed up and views will be exchanged on priority areas of practical interaction in the coming year.
