The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov, participating in the events of the Tashkent International Investment forum.
At the beginning of the meeting, Olzhas Bektenov conveyed sincere greetings and best wishes to the head of our state from the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
Current issues of further development and strengthening of Uzbek-Kazakh relations of strategic partnership and alliance were discussed in the context of the agreements reached during the summit meetings level.
The steady growth in trade turnover was noted with satisfaction. Projects are being successfully implemented in the automotive, electrical, textile, metallurgical, pharmaceutical industries, construction, and agriculture.
The importance of the governments of the two countries taking coordinated measures to increase trade turnover and forming a long-term program of industrial cooperation in priority sectors, including at the regional level, was noted.
