President Shavkat Mirziyoyev inspected the progress of a comprehensive exercise of the Ministry of Defense troops
The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the activities of the Special Operations Forces training ground in Tashkent region.
On the initiative of the President of our country, in recent years, all field training centers and military units of the Ministry of Defense have been modernized and brought into compliance with international standards.
The logical continuation of this work was the new Special Operations Forces training ground, created taking into account foreign experience and modern trends in troop training, allowing for the effective training of special units.
The training ground facilities have created the necessary conditions for improving combat skills and effective training of personnel, as well as increasing their moral and psychological stability.
The head of state got acquainted with new methods of organizing combat and special training classes and took part in observing the active phase of the ongoing exercise with units of the Armed Forces.
During the exercise, the combat capabilities and the achieved level of coherence in the joint combat use of units of various types of troops, as well as new digital systems for command and control of troops and weapons were demonstrated.
Effective methods and methods of using unmanned aerial vehicles during various combat operations, joint actions of airborne assault, artillery, aviation, air defense and ground forces during the performance of various combat training missions were demonstrated.
At the same time, special attention was paid to assessing the level of independent decision-making skills and management skills of junior commanders using modern digital technologies, as well as the professional skills of military personnel in the effective use of modern weapons and equipment in a rapidly changing combat situation on the battlefield.
At the end of the exercise, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces gave a high assessment of the readiness of the units and the achieved level of coherence of joint actions.
In a conversation with the command staff of the Armed Forces, the head of state emphasized that in the current alarming time, when security threats are increasing in the world, further strengthening the potential of the Armed Forces with the improvement of professional skills, as well as ensuring the unity of the people and the army with the education of youth in the spirit of patriotism should form the basis of ongoing military reforms.
