The President visited the victims of the tragedy in the city of Gulistan
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the Syrdarya branch of the Republican Scientific Center for Emergency Medical Care.
The victims of the accident are being treated here explosion of a gas cylinder that occurred two days ago in one of the public catering establishments in the city of Gulistan.
The management of the center and doctors informed the President about the condition of the patients and the progress of the treatment process. The head of state entered the wards where citizens who had received injuries of varying degrees of severity are located, inquired about their well-being and talked with members of their families.
The President instructed responsible officials to take strict control over the provision of all necessary medical care to the victims. Expressing condolences to the families of the victims, he emphasized the need to provide them with material support.
The competent authorities have been tasked with comprehensively studying the causes of the incident, ensuring the rule of law, taking measures to prevent similar incidents in the future and strengthening control over compliance with fire safety requirements.
