Executives from leading British companies, banks, and financial institutions, including UK Export Finance, Standard Chartered UK, Sturgeon Capital, Endeavour Mining, and British Petroleum, attended the meeting.
Issues regarding expanding trade, economic, investment, and financial cooperation were considered.
The positive dynamics of bilateral cooperation were emphasized: trade turnover and the number of enterprises with British capital participation are growing.
Proposals to develop the Tashkent International Financial Centre, the International Commercial Court, and the capital market, as well as a technological partnership in pharmaceuticals, artificial intelligence, and energy, were supported.
Particular attention was paid to promoting joint projects in finance, infrastructure, public-private partnerships, green energy, transportation, geology, and the oil and gas sector, including projects to develop social infrastructure and waste processing.
