Upon arrival at the Baku Congress Center, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev was welcomed by President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan and Executive Director of the United Nations Human Settlements Programme Anacláudia Rossbach.

This year’s forum is being held under the theme “Housing the World: Safe and Resilient Cities and Communities,” bringing together heads of state and government, as well as leaders of international organizations and development institutions.
The forum agenda focuses on sustainable urban development, expanding access to modern and affordable housing, improving the quality of the urban environment, strengthening climate resilience, developing social and transport infrastructure, and enhancing housing finance mechanisms.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev is expected to address the forum’s Leaders’ Summit.
