A new hotel complex has been opened
The tourism potential of our country is growing every year. The flow of tourists is increasing in all regions, modern hotels and tourist facilities are being built.
The modern hotel complex, built next to the New Uzbekistan park in Tashkent, has become a logical continuation of these efforts. President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, having familiarized himself with the progress of creative work on the ground, visited this facility.
The once neglected and ownerless areas have today turned into a landscaped area. On an area of more than 8 hectares, 12 modern hotels, a conference hall “New Tashkent” with 375 seats, a restaurant with 310 seats, a health center and an outdoor sports ground were built.
The hotels are named after Karakalpakstan and the regions. These are three-star, five-story hotels with 62 rooms and 124 beds each. The complex operates according to a single concept, and its management will be transferred to reputable international companies with extensive experience - Leo Hospitality Solutions, Radisson Individuals and Trademark Collection by Wyndham.
Private banks have proposed to become partners in the management of such complexes. The head of state emphasized that the expansion of the service sector and the creation of modern facilities on site will contribute to the growth of the population's well-being.
Hotels are harmoniously combined with restaurants, conference rooms and recreation areas, which allows to significantly expand the range of services provided. It is possible to host high-level events and major international conferences.
540 new jobs have been created in the complex, and it will be able to serve an average of 55 thousand tourists annually. This will become a new point of attraction for domestic and foreign guests, as well as an additional incentive for the development of tourism in the Tashkent region. The construction of the complex also gave impetus to improving the infrastructure in the adjacent mahallas, increasing the well-being of people.
The head of state drew attention to the need to expand the range and improve the quality of services, attracting both local and foreign tourists. It was emphasized that the development of multifunctional hotel services must be actively promoted in the regions of the country.
