On October 8, 2026, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Muzaffar Madrakhimov met with the European Union Special Representative for Central Asia Eduards Stiprais.
During the talks, the current state and prospects for further development of multifaceted cooperation between Uzbekistan and the European Union were discussed.
The sides exchanged views on the high-quality organization and substantive content of upcoming joint events at the highest and high levels.
The parties emphasized the importance of expanding practical interaction in areas of mutual interest, as well as the effective use of existing cooperation mechanisms.
Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to continue regular dialogue to further strengthen relations between Uzbekistan and the European Union.
