The parties discussed ways to further strengthen the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Qatar, as well as the consistent implementation of the agreements reached during high-level engagements.
They exchanged views on the prospects for expanding cooperation in trade and economy, investment, transport and logistics, energy, tourism, and cultural and humanitarian fields.
They also reviewed the schedule of upcoming bilateral events and discussed current issues of cooperation within international organizations.
The Ambassador conveyed the sincere appreciation of the Qatari side for the recent visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, to Doha following the passing of Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, the former Amir of the State of Qatar, and for his personal expression of condolences and sympathy.
