New Year's greetings to the people of Uzbekistan
Dear compatriots!
I sincerely congratulate you, all our multinational people, on the upcoming New Year – 2026.
The past year has become a year of great transformations and achievements in the life of our people, an increase in our confidence in the future.
Despite the difficult situation in the world, we have achieved all the goals and milestones we have set for ourselves. The volume of gross domestic product exceeded $145 billion for the first time, Uzbekistan consolidated its place among middle-income countries.
The effect of economic growth is clearly reflected in the improvement of the lives of our people, family incomes, the appearance of mahallas, the faith of our youth in the future.
In the past year, in every family, in every home there were many bright, happy moments.
The joy of millions of families who celebrated housewarmings, increased their incomes, established and strengthened their businesses, are proud of their personal successes and the successes of their children in science, culture, sports and other areas - all this certainly fills us with strength and energy to achieve our goals in the new year.
Dear fellow citizens!
In the new year, we are mobilizing new and new opportunities to ensure a happy, prosperous and healthy life for every family, young people receiving a quality education, acquiring professions of the future and regular sports.
We declared 2026 “The Year of Development of the Mahalla and the Whole Society.”
In the new year we will improve the infrastructure thousands of mahallas, we will give them the appearance of New Uzbekistan.
All sectors of the economy will be transferred to a model of technological and innovative growth. We will continue to work to increase the incomes and purchasing power of the population.
We will expand support for people in need, our respected veterans, dear women, young people.
We will continue effective measures to improve the environment, develop green energy, rational use of water resources.
In a word, in the new In 2026, all our reforms and efforts will be aimed at creating the most favorable conditions for the life of the population and business.
I am convinced that experienced mahalla chairmen and activists, intellectuals, entrepreneurs, energetic youth, the general public, every compatriot will make their worthy contribution to this noble work!
