Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan met with Minister for European and International Affairs of Austria and Minister of the Interior

On May 7, Foreign Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov met with Beate Meinl-Reisinger, Federal Minister for European and International Affairs of the Republic of Austria and Gerhard Karner, Federal Minister of the Interior.

“Had a productive meeting with Federal Minister for European and International Affairs of the Republic of Austria H.E. Beate Meinl-Reisinger and Federal Minister of the Interior H.E. Gerhard Karner, today in Tashkent, - the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan wrote in his telegram-channel. - Particular attention was paid to further advancing Uzbekistan–Austria relations, intensifying political dialogue and expanding trade, economic and investment cooperation.

Also discussed prospects for cooperation in the fields of security, migration, education, tourism, green energy, as well as cultural and humanitarian exchanges. Both sides expressed interest in attracting Austria’s advanced expertise and technologies.
