On May 11, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov received copies of the credentials from Turki Khalid Hamad Al-Mikrad, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Kuwait to Uzbekistan.
«Received copies of the credentials of the newly appointed Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to Uzbekistan, H.E. Turki Khalid Hamad Al-Mikrad, – the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan wrote in his telegram-channel. – The prospects for further expanding the multifaceted cooperation between Uzbekistan and Kuwait were at the center of our agenda.
Noted that the state visit of H.E. President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Kuwait in February 2025 elevated bilateral relations to a new level.
Also discussed strengthening cooperation within the framework of the Gulf Cooperation Council, as well as other international and regional organizations.
