On March 30, 2026, Munira Aminova, Adviser to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan met with Akiko Fujii, Head of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Uzbekistan.
During the discussion, both sides positively assessed the current level of cooperation and expressed confidence in its continued strengthening.
The participants emphasized the importance of expanding collaboration in key areas, including the promotion of a green economy and environmental initiatives, further development of projects in the Aral Sea region, as well as advancements in cybersecurity and agriculture.
The meeting concluded with both parties reaffirming their commitment to deepening the partnership.
