Meeting with the Executive Director of the Representation Office of the Organization of Turkic States in Hungary
On June 18, 2026, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Mirvokhid Azimov met with Balázs Hendrich, Executive Director of the Representation Office of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) in Hungary and Chairman of the Board of the OTS Drought Prevention Institute, as well as József Rózsa, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary to Uzbekistan.
On June 18, 2026, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Mirvokhid Azimov met with Balázs Hendrich, Executive Director of the Representation Office of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) in Hungary and Chairman of the Board of the OTS Drought Prevention Institute, as well as József Rózsa, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary to Uzbekistan.
During the meeting, the parties discussed current issues related to the further development of multifaceted cooperation within the OTS, as well as prospects for expanding Uzbek-Hungarian cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
Particular attention was paid to the activities of the OTS Drought Prevention Institute, including the implementation of joint initiatives and projects in the fields of integrated water resources management, climate change adaptation, the introduction of modern agricultural technologies, and the strengthening of food security.
