On April 15, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Olimjon Abdullaev met with Girts Jaunzems, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Latvia to Uzbekistan.
On April 15, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Olimjon Abdullaev met with Girts Jaunzems, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Latvia to Uzbekistan.
During the meeting, issues related to the protection of the rights and legitimate interests of citizens of Uzbekistan were discussed, as well as the development of bilateral cooperation in the field of labor migration, including the acceleration of the signing of an intergovernmental agreement and the expansion of organized labor migration channels.
The sides expressed mutual interest in maintaining regular dialogue and agreed on joint steps to further develop cooperation.
