The leaders of Uzbekistan and Russia held a telephone conversation
On October 7, a telephone conversation took place between the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.
The head of our state cordially congratulated the leader of Russia on his birthday, sincerely wishing him good health, well-being and success, as well as prosperity to the friendly Russian people.
Current issues of further development and strengthening of Uzbek-Russian relations of comprehensive strategic partnership and alliance in the context of the practical implementation of agreements at the highest level were discussed.
Particular attention was paid to maintaining the dynamics of growth in mutual trade turnover, promoting cooperation projects of leading enterprises and companies in industry, energy, agriculture and other priority areas, expanding business cooperation between the regions of the two countries.
The ongoing active cultural and humanitarian exchange was noted with deep satisfaction.
The parties also exchanged views on current issues of the international and regional agenda, discussed the schedule of upcoming events.
