The leaders of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan had a telephone conversation
The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev had a telephone conversation with the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov on February 10.
Issues of further strengthening the Uzbek-Kyrgyz relations of friendship, good neighborliness and comprehensive strategic partnership were considered.
The stable dynamics of trade turnover was noted with satisfaction. Industrial cooperation projects are being implemented, joint work continues on major infrastructure projects, including the construction of the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway and the Kambarata hydroelectric station.
The presidents also exchanged views on current aspects of the regional agenda, discussed the schedule of upcoming bilateral and multilateral events.
