Foreign Ministers of Uzbekistan and Singapore discuss prospects for expanding bilateral trade, economic and investment cooperation
On June 22 the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov held a meeting with the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Singapore Vivian Balakrishnan.

Vivian Balakrishnan, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Singapore, - the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan wrote in his telegram-channel. - First of all, we expressed our sincere appreciation to the Singaporean side for the warm welcome and gracious hospitality extended to our delegation.
Noted with satisfaction that relations between Uzbekistan and Singapore continue to strengthen steadily on the basis of mutual respect, trust, and shared interests.
Discussed prospects for expanding trade, economic and investment cooperation, encouraging closer engagement between business communities, and increasing the number of joint projects.
Particular attention was paid to maintaining high-level dialogue, preparing for the meaningful celebration of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations in 2027, and advancing the agenda of visits at various levels.
Also exchanged views on pressing regional and international issues.
Emphasized our interest in enhancing dialogue between Central Asia and Southeast Asia, strengthening practical cooperation with ASEAN, and deepening partnership within the framework of multilateral diplomacy».
