«Today, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, we held fruitful talks with H.E. Mauro Vieira, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federative Republic of Brazil, – the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan wrote in his telegram-channel. – During the meeting, we discussed in detail ways to intensify political dialogue between Uzbekistan and Brazil, expand trade, economic and investment cooperation, realise the untapped potential for cooperation, and develop relations in the fields of agriculture, logistics, education, cultural and humanitarian exchanges, and tourism.
Welcomed the outcomes of the business forum and roundtable held during the visit, which were attended by representatives of the business communities of Uzbekistan and Brazil. Leading Brazilian companies and associations, such as Embraer, WEG, Petrobras, ABIEC, ABPA and ApexBrasil, held a series of meetings in B2B and B2G formats.
Also exchanged views on the prospects for cooperation within the framework of BRICS, the UN and other international organisations.
