«We held a substantive meeting with H.E. José Manuel Albares, Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation of Spain, – the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan wrote in his telegram-channel.– Our discussion was open and constructive, focusing on advancing Uzbekistan-Spain relations, intensifying political dialogue, and expanding economic cooperation.
Following the negotiations, we signed a Cooperation Plan between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs for 2026–2028, Agreement on the abolition of visa requirements for holders of diplomatic passports, and a Memorandum of Understanding on strengthening cooperation in the field of diplomatic training.
We are confident that today’s meeting will further strengthen the multifaceted cooperation of Uzbekistan-Spain and we will continue to advance our mutually beneficial partnership».
