«Today in Algiers, we held sincere and productive talks with H.E. Ahmed Attaf, the Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria, – the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan wrote in his telegram-channel. – During our discussions in both narrow and expanded formats, we thoroughly reviewed ways to intensify political dialogue, expand trade, economic and investment cooperation, and strengthen cultural and humanitarian ties between Uzbekistan and Algeria.
Highly value Algeria as an important and promising partner on the African continent. There remains significant untapped potential in our bilateral relations. We support enriching our historic friendship with practical partnership, establishing regular high-level contacts, and expanding joint projects.
Particular attention was also paid to cooperation within international organizations, including the Non-Aligned Movement, the United Nations, and other multilateral platforms, as well as to issues of mutual support.
Exchanged views on current regional and international developments, with particular attention to the evolving situation in the Middle East. Emphasized the importance of restraint, dialogue, and diplomatic engagement in ensuring stability and preventing further escalation».
