The service sector is becoming one of the drivers of economic growth in Jizzakh
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the activities of the Kuk Saroy trade and service complex, located in the city of Jizzakh.
In our country, large-scale work is being carried out to develop modern services in trade, create favorable conditions for small businesses and entrepreneurship.
The Kuk Saray complex, located on an area of 3.5 hectares in the city of Jizzakh, is one of the largest trade and consumer services facilities in the region.
More than 300 new business entities have established activities here. As a result, over 800 jobs were created, including 100 low-income citizens.
The complex has branches of large retail chains, 10 local and foreign brands, 250 retail outlets, a food court and a children's playground. The volume of services provided is 223 billion soums per year.
It is noteworthy that the complex has a library and a bookstore.
As part of the second stage of the project, it is planned to build a three-story eco-market for agricultural products. It will accommodate 1 thousand retail outlets. As a result, 2 thousand new jobs will be created.
The President of our country got acquainted with the activities of the complex and talked with visitors. He noted the need for further development of the service sector based on an integrated approach, increasing the number of similar centers in other regions.
At this point, the head of state completed his trip to the Jizzakh region and departed for Tashkent.
