gs and best wishes from the Federal President of Austria Alexander Van der Bellen, to the President of Uzbekistan.
Issues related to the further development of practical cooperation between the two countries were discussed.
The parties noted with satisfaction the steady development of bilateral contacts at various levels. Trade turnover between the two countries has tripled in recent years. Cooperation projects in the fields of construction materials, mountain tourism, healthcare, the chemical industry, agriculture, as well as the banking and financial sectors, are actively progressing.
The Intergovernmental Commission continues to work effectively. As part of the current visit, a joint business forum was successfully held, and important agreements were signed in the areas of labor migration, diplomatic service, and taxation.
Cultural and educational exchanges are expanding.
The importance of establishing a systematic high-level dialogue, increasing trade turnover, and promoting joint projects in priority areas was emphasized.
Regarding cooperation in the field of security, the need for constant information exchange in the fight against terrorism, human trafficking, drug trafficking, and cybercrime was noted.
The parties also exchanged views on current issues on the regional and international agenda.
