Particular attention was paid to organizing the visit of a delegation of Uzbek entrepreneurs to Pakistan and holding the “Uzbekistan–Pakistan” business forum within its framework. It was noted that the event will allow for the establishment of direct contacts between the business communities of the two countries, the expansion of trade ties and the formulation of new investment projects.
Parties also discussed the preparation of bilateral documents, promising joint projects, and measures to remove obstacles to the development of economic cooperation.
Haroon Akhtar Khan highly praised the initiatives of the Uzbek side and confirmed readiness to provide support in preparing the upcoming visit.
Furthermore, the importance of the prompt finalization of the action plan for trade, economic, and investment cooperation between Uzbekistan and Pakistan for 2026–2030 was highlighted. Document is intended to define the priority areas of interaction and contribute to increasing trade volumes.
Following the talks, parties agreed to intensify economic diplomacy, strengthen the strategic partnership, and expand the exchange of business delegations.
