At the invitation of President Alexander Lukashenko of Belarus, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay an official visit to Belarus on July 8-9.
In accordance with the program of the visit, high-level talks are scheduled in Minsk.
The leaders will discuss the further expansion of the multifaceted partnership between Uzbekistan and Belarus.
The talks will focus on increasing bilateral trade and deepening cooperation in agriculture, mechanical engineering, pharmaceuticals, the textile and food industries, and other sectors.
Particular attention will be given to expanding cultural and humanitarian exchange programs.
Following the summit, a substantial package of bilateral documents in priority areas is expected to be adopted.
On the eve of the visit, Minsk will host the third Interregional Forum with the participation of regional delegations and business representatives from the two countries.
