«Glad to welcome H.E. Barry Faure, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora of the Republic of Seychelles, in Tashkent, – the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan wrote in his telegram-channel. – During our discussions, we thoroughly reviewed ways to steadily advance cooperation between our countries. Agreed on concrete steps to enhance political dialogue, establish joint mechanisms between our Ministries of Foreign Affairs, and expand collaboration in trade, economic, and tourism sectors. Also exchanged views on pressing international issues.
We signed the Agreement on General Cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Government of the Republic of Seychelles.
We are confident that this visit will elevate relations between our countries to a new level».
