On April 20, 2026, in Tashkent, a regular meeting of the Subcommittee on Security Cooperation of the Uzbek–Chinese Intergovernmental Committee on Cooperation was held.
From the Uzbek side, the meeting was co-chaired by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Bobur Usmanov and from the Chinese side by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Liu Bin.
During the meeting, representatives of the competent authorities of both sides exchanged views on priority areas of cooperation in the field of security and discussed future plans.
The sides agreed to continue cooperation on the issues included in the agenda.
