The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan held talks with the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the UAE
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Olimjon Abdullayev met yesterday in Abu Dhabi with Deputy Minister of Interior of the UAE Said Abdullah al-Suwaidi.
The Emirati side highly appreciated the cooperation established between the two states, in particular in the field of security.
He emphasized that training seminars and international conferences are successfully held between the parties in the areas of combating cybercrime, terrorism, transnational crime, as well as in the areas of security and information technology.
Welcoming the fact that the “UAE Fast-track” platform was positively received by the Uzbek side to facilitate the entry of citizens of Uzbekistan into the territory of the emirates, he stated that the necessary measures will be taken for its speedy implementation.
He fully supported the initiative to appoint a representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs at the embassy in Abu Dhabi in order to combat organized crime, prevent illegal migration and strengthening cooperation in this direction.
