12 января министр иностранных дел Бахтиёр Саидов принял верительные грамоты Эрика Де Майера, вновь назначенного Чрезвычайного и Полномочного Посла Королевства Бельгии в Республике Узбекистан.
В ходе встречи обсуждён весь спектр двусторонних отношений. Отмечена важность дальнейшего содействия развитию торговли, инвестиций и делового сотрудничества между Узбекистаном и Бельгией, а также расширения практического экономического взаимодействия.
Глава внешнеполитического ведомства пожелал послу успехов в его дипломатической деятельности в нашей стране.
