New generation engineers are being trained in Jizzakh
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the activities of the School of Automotive Engineering, organized at the Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute.
Here cooperation has been established with the enterprises “BYD Uzbekistan Factory” and “ADM Jizzakh” in the training of qualified specialists and their employment.
The training programs at the School of Engineering are organized with an innovative approach in four educational areas specializing in the transport sector. In particular, students who complete the second year with high scores undergo two-year dual training on modern educational platforms developed in accordance with the requirements of the BYD plant. Students also carry out practical training in close cooperation with the plant, which allows them to receive a special certificate for employment.
At short-term preparatory courses, candidates applying for work at the automobile plant, plant employees and unemployed youth are taught their chosen professions. A mini-conveyor for the production of BYD cars has also been created here. The production shop includes welding, painting, assembly and quality control areas.
Special rooms have been created focused on the study of electric vehicle and charging stations, electric vehicle maintenance, industrial and software engineering, as well as costing and reverse engineering.
In the global automotive industry, there is one unshakable principle: a company that does not analyze competitors, will not be able to develop.
This engineering school in Jizzakh is the first to teach skills such as technical and analytical comparison of products, cost modeling, production optimization, and comparison of processes with global standards.
The school is open not only to students, but also to young people and professionals who want to work in the industry. There are advanced training programs, basic professional courses and practical modules for entrepreneurs. Leading specialists and experienced engineers from industrial enterprises participate in them.
The main goal of the school is to immerse the student in a real production environment even before employment. As a result, graduates become experienced and competitive personnel who fully meet the requirements of the market.
The head of our state got acquainted with the progress of classes at the school and talked with students working on the mini-conveyor.
The President also had a conversation with the activists of the republic and the region. It was noted that in recent years Jizzakh has shown good results in industry, agriculture and other areas. However, the region’s potential is still not fully exploited.
– We came to Jizzakh to identify new growth points. The main thing is to create decent conditions for the population, especially for young people, to provide them with well-paid jobs, the head of state emphasized.
