Modern electrical products are produced in Akhangaran
During his visit to the Akhangaran district, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev also got acquainted with the activities of the Premier enterprise, specializing in the production of household appliances.
In recent years, the development of the electrical engineering industry has been provided with comprehensive support in our country. As a result, the possibilities for attracting foreign direct investment and modern technologies, deep processing of local raw materials, as well as the production of import-substituting and export-competitive products with high added value are expanding.
In particular, this project in Akhangaran is being implemented jointly with the Fajr Al Mustaqbal General Trading company on an area of 10 hectares, and its total cost is $30 million.
The initiative will create 250 new jobs and generate $4 million in exports. At the moment, construction work has been completed by 95 percent, $11.3 million of investments have been disbursed.
The products manufactured at this enterprise will be exported to countries such as Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Russia, Kyrgyzstan and Afghanistan.
Currently, there are only two such enterprises in Uzbekistan and four in Central Asia. In terms of production volumes within the framework of this project, the enterprise will take second place among them.
In the future, after the enterprise reaches full capacity, the production of import-substituting products worth $87 million is expected.
The head of our state inspected the production process and the quality of the enterprise's products, talked with specialists and workers.
He was also here the enterprise development program for 2026-2027 was presented. An exhibition of electrical products produced by domestic enterprises was organized.
