- Thanks to centuries-old ties, common history and common values, the interest of the Pakistani population in traveling to Uzbekistan is growing every day, said Special Coordinator for Tourism of the Prime Minister of Pakistan Sardar Yasir Ilyas Khan. - In this, of course, the simplified issuance of tourist visas for Pakistanis and direct flights between our countries played a huge role. After all, no matter how much we talk about the development of tourism and increasing the flow of tourists, if states are not connected by direct flights and do not create conveniences for travel arrangements, we must admit that we will never be able to achieve our goals. We are ready to mobilize all our forces and capabilities to develop cooperation in the field of tourism with Uzbekistan and join forces to increase tourist exchange.
During the event, the ambassador of the tourism brand of Uzbekistan in Pakistan, Hamid Mahmud, made a presentation on the tourism potential of our country. He told the guests about the cultural heritage of the Uzbek people, modern tourism infrastructure, hotels, craft centers and infrastructure facilities created for foreign tourists.

At the closing ceremony of the international tourism exhibition “Global Destinations Expo”, the participation of each country was assessed. In particular, the Uzbekistan pavilion was recognized as the best pavilion of the exhibition and was awarded a special certificate.
