The sides exchanged views on regional security and current international issues, emphasizing the importance of resolving all matters through political and diplomatic means in accordance with international law.
The parties also discussed further strengthening the traditional ties of friendship between Uzbekistan and Iran, as well as expanding bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
An agreement was reached to continue close dialogue and practical cooperation between the Foreign Ministries of the two countries.
