The next meeting of the Public Council under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was held.
Chairman of the Public Council Saidmukhtor took part in the meeting Saidkasimov, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Bahromjon Aloev, as well as representatives of civil society institutions, experts in the field of international relations and representatives of the media.
During the meeting, an overview of the activities of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs over the past period of the current year was presented. During the meeting, the main results of the work were summed up, and it was noted that the open, pragmatic and active foreign policy of Uzbekistan is being consistently implemented, and the international authority and image of the country on the world stage continues to strengthen.
Particular attention was paid to the development of economic diplomacy. Information is presented on the activities of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and foreign diplomatic missions to attract foreign investment, increase export potential, promote domestic products to international markets, work with regions, as well as in the areas of labor migration and tourism.
In addition, an open and constructive dialogue on topical regional and global issues took place during the meeting. During an interactive exchange of views with representatives of civil society, proposals and recommendations were made aimed at further improving foreign policy activities.
As a result of the discussions, proposals were voiced aimed at strengthening the positive image of Uzbekistan abroad, expanding public participation in foreign policy processes, as well as developing international cultural and humanitarian cooperation.
Based on the results of the meeting the “Practical Action Plan” of the Public Council under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2026 was approved.
