A meeting took place between the Presidents of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan
The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting with the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov, who arrived in our country to participate in the seventh Consultative meeting of the heads of state of Central Asia.
The issues of practical implementation of agreements at the highest level were considered, primarily measures to increase trade turnover, accelerate the implementation of important cooperation projects in the field of industry, transport, energy and infrastructure.
The importance of continuing active interregional contacts and cultural and humanitarian exchange was emphasized.
The presidents also exchanged views on current issues on the regional agenda.
